LEGO South America

Here's Sam's LEGO version of a map of South America. He used a different color for each country, and added minifig heads to show the capital cities of each country.

My LEGO House MOC

Here are some cool photos of a LEGO house, submitted by Cody. We especially like the red sports car in the garage, the arched doorways upstairs, and the garage door that opens and closes (controlled by a worm gear). Very cool, Cody!

LEGO Club from May 6, 2010

Our theme for this week's LEGO Club was "LEGO Endor" from Star Wars. A couple of the kids weren't familiar with Star Wars, so they built their own projects instead. Here are our cool creations!

LEGO BrickMaster Magazine Builds and Update

We just received our May-June 2010 LEGO BrickMaster magazine, and it is chock full of cool stuff!

Builds
Here are the two builds we received with our magazine. Here is the Alligator:

And here is the frog and his lilypad:

LEGOLAND Updates
Coming this June 2010 to LEGOLAND California, is the world's first LEGOLAND Water Park! It will include a Build-a-Raft river (where everyone floats on their own custom-built LEGO raft), four-person raft slides, single-person tube slides, body slides and hands-on toddler areas.

And if you are a member of the official LEGO Club, there is a LEGO Club weekend at LEGOLAND California and LEGO DISCOVERY CENTER Chicago on August 14-15, 2010.

According to LEGO BrickMaster magazine, just bring your LEGO Club Magazine to receive a LEGO Club button, LEGO Club commemorative Brick, and more! You can challenge your family to a LEGO Games tournament, join in a LEGO Scavenger Hunt, and receive one pound of Pick-o-Brick and get a half pound free!

LEGO BrickMaster magazine also includes two free child tickets to LEGOLAND. Very cool!

Earth Day at our LEGO Club

Here are a few photos from our LEGO Club from Thursday, April 22nd (Earth Day). The theme was "Making our world a better place". Here are our creations:

The Observatory
Discovering new things about the space around us to help us discover new ways to help the Earth around us.

The Back Yard
The way it helps the Earth is having lots of trees and plants to take in carbon dioxide and produce oxygen for us to breathe.

Disneyland Playground
Kids love Disneyland. That's why I made Disneyland, because it helps kids know that Disneyland is fun!

Results of our Poll about the Prince of Persia Sets

Thanks to everyone who voted in our sidebar poll, "What is your favorite LEGO Prince of Persia set?"

The polls are closed and the results are...

Desert Attack: 1 out of 4 votes
The Ostrich Race: 1 out of 4 votes
The Fight for the Dagger: 0 votes
Quest Against Time: 1 out of 4 votes
Battle of Alamut: 1 out of 4 votes

It looks like there wasn't a clear winner this time! Instead, we all liked a different set. Note that the new movie, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, will be released later this month.

Our next poll will ask the question, "Have you ever posted your own LEGO creation on the Internet?" If you'd like, you can add the URL where your creation is posted in the Comments section below so we can check out your cool creations!

Bella's LEGO Engagement Rings

It's been a while since I've last posted anything, so I have lots to post this weekend! First, here are a couple of LEGO engagement rings for Bella (from the Eclipse book), made by Sam and Kelly:
